On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Agricultural Manufacturers of Canada (AMC), we are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Leah Olson to President, effective March 2, 2015. Leah will assume her Presidential responsibilities immediately under the guidance and transition of retiring President, Jerry Engel.
Throughout Leah’s more than 15 years in the private and public sectors, she has been a trusted adviser to numerous Federal and Provincial Ministers, as well as Presidents and corporate executives. Leah has an MBA from Queen’s University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration from Concordia University. She is also fully bilingual in English and French.
Having grown up on a grain farm in southwestern Saskatchewan, Leah has a unique understanding of the important innovations being made in the agricultural manufacturing industry and how these innovations provide valuable productivity and better safety to our farmers and their families.
We are excited about Leah’s addition and leadership role with AMC and look forward to her contribution in helping us grown our Association by providing expanded value and services to our membership.
