On February 12, 2015 Linamar Agriculture Inc. signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assests of Harvestec. Linamar Corporation is the original equipment manufacturer of the cornheads that are marketed and sold under the Harvetec name in North America. Founded and managed by Bill Helm, Harvestec and has been the distributor of our cornheads for the past 17 years. We here at Linamar congratulate Mr. Helm on a successful, life-long career in the agriculture industry and are excited for him as he begins the transition into retirement. We here at Linamar are excited as well, excited to begin the next chapter in our partnership with you, our valued Harvestec dealers. Moving forward, the company will be known as Linamar Agriculture Inc., Harvestec will be a brand of Linamar Agriculture Inc.
