We’re pleased to announce that Rick Barry will deliver the keynote address during the Joint Opening Session in Las Vegas.

Rick Barry
This Hall of Fame forward is the only player to lead the NCAA, NBA, and ABA in scoring. After playing fourteen seasons (10 with the NBA), Barry racked up a career total of 25, 279 points. He was a 12-time All-Star selection, and in 1975, he led his Golden State Warriors to the NBA championship. He retired after the 1979-80 season, and he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1987. In 1996, Barry was named to the NBA’s 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.
If you were choosing a pickup basketball team, Rick Barry would be one of your first choices. There have been few players in basketball history that played with more passion and competitive zeal than Rick Barry. But, if Barry played for the opposing team, one dreaded the assignment of having to cover him. On the court, Barry had only one speed –turbo. He was an aggressive force who would use any means necessary to score and win. In many cases, scoring and winning meant slashing drives to the hoop with a reckless abandon that either landed him two points or a trip to the free throw line. His modern style of basketball was sharply contrasted at the free throw line where his unique underhanded technique was a throwback to basketball’s early days.
Join Barry as he talks about his career, what he’s learned and how you can apply his lessons to your business and your life.
