Carolyn Kay Kimball, 70, of Lake St Louis, Missouri, passed away, March 18, 2014 after an extended battle with cancer. She was born in Sutter, Illinois on February 22, 1944. Her parents Clyde and Amelia LaBonte and sister, Darlene Linnenburger, precede her in death. Kay graduated from Warsaw High School and Graduated from the Davenport Business School. She married Pete Kimball on December 22, 1963.
Kay’s family was the most important aspect of her life. Her favorite pastime was playing bridge and was quite a passionate player. She also enjoyed traveling the world and spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks with her husband.
Kay’s career included her work in the family business, Kimball Sales Co., an avid real-estate agent and an executive assistant within the John Deere Corporation.
Kay is survived by her husband Pete Kimball and sister Marva (Phil) Weiny. As well as her three children; Michelle (Keith) Rogers; Sheri (Tom) Clark and Marcus (Jennifer) Kimball; and her eight Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made out to the American Cancer Society. A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, March 29th at the Lake St. Louis Community Association. ###
