Bradley Wayne Demmler, age 67, of Katy, Texas, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, September 1, 2022, with his wife Lisa by his side.
He was born in Greenville, PA on December 20, 1954, to John J. and Sally (Axtell) Demmler.
On March 24, 2018, Bradley married Lisa Hiltabidel, she survives.
Brad was a 1972 graduate of Jamestown Area High School, where he then attended Gannon University for two years studying Business Administration. He moved to Houston, Texas in 1980, where he began working at White’s Inc. During that time he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Commerce from the University of Houston-Downtown in 1989. He continued to advance within White’s Inc. and recently retired after 42 years of dedicated employment, as the Vice President & General Manager in 2022.
Brad was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan (not always popular in Texas, but he didn’t care)! He enjoyed traveling, buying vintage computer games, riding his Harley, golfing, and hosting pool parties for his family and friends. He especially loved his cats, Emily and Charlie.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his father, John J. Demmler of Jamestown, PA, his stepchildren Brandon Brant of Katy, TX, Kristin Brant Rainey of Mount Vernon, TX, Christopher Slaughter of Katy, TX, and Jarydd Sanders of Austin, TX, three brothers, Karl Demmler and his fiancé, Cindy McClimans of Harlingen, TX, Douglas and his wife, Laura of Jamestown, and Mark Demmler and his partner, Lawrence Fisher of Pittsburgh, three sisters, Michelle and her husband, Todd DePree of Jamestown, Marcella Demmler of Jamestown, and Melissa and her husband, Thomas Shannon of Jamestown, 15 nieces and nephews, 18 great nieces and nephews, and 3 great great nieces.
He was preceded in death by his mother, his older brother, John H. Demmler, and one great niece, Madilyn Dembinski.
A memorial service will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Rocky Glen Cemetery in Atlantic, PA.
